Block Paving for Driveway and Patio with Marshall blocks
In this block paving project, a residential homeowner in Burnley, Lancashire made contact with our team at Stone Made Drives to help bring their vision to life. Their existing driveway consisted of paving slabs and old tarmac, while their back garden patio area was covered with paving slabs and overgrown areas with lots of shrubs.
Using our digger, we began by breaking up the existing surface before excavating the area to ensure it was safe to work in. The customer had requested a brand new block paving driveway out the front of their property, and block paving patio area using Marshalls bricks in their back garden.
After adding a high-grade membrane to stop weed growth before adding a sub base throughout the area, our team of landscapers began to add Marshalls bricks to complete the look.
In this project, the customer opted for slate grey bricks with a lighter cream border and slate grey edging to finish off the look. The customer was completely overwhelmed with the final result, and they were soon the envy of their neighbours who came to take a look at the completed project.
