This block paved driveway took less than a week to install. Our driveway specialists used multi coloured brindle block paving that was laid in a 45 degree pattern. For the border we used charcoal coloured block paving.
To make the foundations, we had to dig down to 12 inches. We then laid a layer of type 1 MOT stone. To prevent any weeds from growing through, we used a membrane sheeting. On top of this was a layer of sharp sand which had to be level. It was only then, we could lay the block paving onto the flat area. A new step was built making it easier to get in and out of the front door.
As you can see from the images, the new driveway looked great. Our customers were really happy and loved the fact that they could park more than one car on the driveway now.
Installing block paved driveways is what we do best. So if you are like our clients and live in Lancashire, then why not let us transform your old driveway into a practical area that looks amazing.
