Take a look at our most recent Artificial Grass Project. This project was completed by our expert landscapers for our clients in Lancashire. Our clients had a very small area of grass that they wanted removed and replaced with artificial grass. They also asked if we could tidy up the boarders around the side of the garden while leaving the shrubs and bushes that were already there.
We started this project off by digging out the old lawn. This was loaded onto our truck and was disposed of at the end of the day by our team. We then tidied up the edges and added block-paving edging all the way round the garden to make it look more attractive. This left us with a blank area in the middle of the garden where the artificial grass would go.
We then laid a layer of membrane sheeting onto the ground, this would prevent any weeds growing through once the artificial grass had been laid. We then applied a type 1 hard-core plus 2 inches of sharp sand as a base.
The next step was to lay the artificial grass that was chosen by the client. This didn’t take our team too long. The garden was finished and we left our clients with a lovely looking garden that would be easy to manage.
