We love getting your questions and here are a selection / sample of some of the questions / inquiries we get regularly regarding our driveway and fencing services for businesses and householders in Lancashire:
1 Could you quote for filling it 4 main potholes on a tarmac track beside my house? I have attached some pictures of the tarmac track and of the potholes.
2 Sadly after waiting 5 months I have just been let down for the 3rd time by the company I booked to do my patio for my house in Clitheroe and I’ve been recommended you by a friend that works for a company that supplies block paving and patio slabs.
Firstly I am not sure if you come as far as my house but if you do, what sort of lead times are you working too, as you can imagine I just want to get this done now as soon as possible.
The patio is raised and we are looking for a sleeper retaining wall. It is 40m2 and requires drainage. I also want the curve in the grass graded out so the grass is one level to the sleeper wall and then patio at the upper level.
I have attached some photos, the patio will be coming to the end of the brick building on the left hand side.
We were opting for porcelain slabs (grey)
If you need to meet, or need any more info please let me know.
3 Thanks for our chats and your help so far. I attach some pics of the path as promised, taken this morning. Plus the detailed measurement.
The total area is 300m2 for my Clitheroe House’s Driveway that you visited and measured out for me
It would be really helpful if you could let me have estimates as follows:
Full bonded gravel path with tarmac base
Gravel bonded on to the existing concrete base (with the obvious caveats)
A tarmac only path over the existing concrete base
And any other comments so that I can present all this to the Council.
4 Further to our meeting and chat this afternoon.
This is for my driveway area requiring works is 80m2
Ideally looking to having the following:
Excavate existing surface and Install Hardcore sub base.
Edging bricks for driveway perimeter.
Porous base course needed.
Form new resin bound driveway.
I have more pictures if you need.
Please offer your best competitive quote as looking to get work carried out soon if possible

6 Following a conversation with yourselves towards the end of last week, I wanted to send in some photos of the current situation that I have in my garden with a broken fence on the right hand side of my garden, so technically my neighbours responsibility, however, I would like to look into getting a quote to get it repaired and I would pay for it. Its currently being held in place by a gardening fork as you will see from the attached photos!
I have lived in this Clitheroe house for 10 years and the fence has been rotten and ugly all during that time, which is why I ended up getting some plants to grow over it and help to cover it up. After several years of it being patched up every time it breaks, it just needs to be replaced so that I can finally just sort out that side of my garden. You will see that my neighbours also have a lot of plants growing on their side, so all that weight is probably not helping things on either side. The fence has wooden posts and I think I would like to replace with the same, rather than concrete posts that look quite ugly but obviously it needs somebody to come and have a look. Where the fence is right by my patio, there is some brickwork toward the bottom in there and it just looks really unsightly. The other thing that I want to do is get rid of the skinny strip of grass that is on the right hand side of the paving slab that runs to the bottom of the garden – it’s completely pointless and does not look nice so I just want to have that all as flowerbed something.
Are you able to give me a ball park figure of what sort of cost I would be looking at to sort this out? My key priority is to sort out the fence first and the landscaping can be done after.
In terms of fencing, having looked on your website, I prefer the look of the one in your gallery 3rd one along (screen grab below) rather than the first one with the cement posts.
I am working from home so best number to reach me on is personal mobile. In terms of social distancing, my garden can be accessed via a back alley with no need to go through my house so it would be a pretty safe environment.
